Abuja Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (ABV)


Time: GMT + 1.


The airport is situated 40 km west of city centre. Arik Air flights are operated from both Domestic and International Airport


By car: Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport is linked with city centre by the Abuja-Lokoja highway.


By taxi: It usually cost about 3500 NGN, and the journey takes 60 minutes depending on the traffic.


By shuttle bus: A shuttle bus runs between the airport and Labour House in Central District every hour. Ticket costs 800 NGN one way.


Facilities: Shops, a cafe and currency exchange office are located in the terminal.


Accra Kotoka International Airport (ACC)


Time: GMT.


The airport is situated 10km (6 miles) north of Accra city centre.


By car: From Accra Kotoka International Airport, head south following the signs for the city centre.


By taxi: Metered or shared taxis are the only form of public transportation available. Metered taxis can be found at Car Park 2, close to the Arrivals exit from the terminal. The published price for a Metered Taxi Service is $1.50 for the first Kilometre and $0.55 for every additional Kilometre.


Facilities: Bar, restaurants and food kiosks as well as post office and bureau de change are located in the terminal. Wi-Fi Internet access is available in the Departures area. There are also a few shops, including duty-free.


Lagos Murtala Muhammed International Airport (LOS)


Time: GMT + 1.


The airport is situated in the suburb of Ikeja, 22km (14 miles) northwest of Lagos. Arik Air flights are operated from both the Domestic and International Airport


By car: A highway links Murtala Muhammed Airport with the city centre through Murtala Mohammed Way or Western Avenue. The journey takes 30-60 minutes depending on the traffic.


By taxi: The easiest and safest way to reach the city centre is to take Yellow Cab taxis outside the terminal. It usually costs about 6000 NGN, but it's recommended that the fare is agreed on before setting off.


Facilities: The airport facilities include a restaurant, bank, cafe, shops and a post office. Duty-Free shops are available in the International Terminal


London Heathrow International Airport (LHR)


Time: GMT.


London Heathrow International Airport (LHR) is just 19 km west of central London. Arik Air flights are operated from Terminal 4


By car: It can take up to 60 minutes to get to central London from Heathrow.


By bus: There are National Express coaches operating from all Heathrow's terminals to cities across the UK and into central London. For more information check with National Express


By taxi: The journey time to central London is approximately 60 minutes. Consult taxi officials for approximate costs.


By train: Heathrow has two rail services to central London. In addition to the London Underground Piccadilly Line service, Heathrow Express and Heathrow Connect trains operate frequent services to London Paddington station.
